One penny extra for a pound of tomato, Burger King sees a problem
While McDonald’s and Taco Bell agreed, Burger King still does not want to pay an extra penny for a pound of tomato, which would help to raise poor tomato pickers wages. A protest was organized by farm workers, union members and activists in front of Burger King Headquarters’ in Miami last Friday.
