Respected Marine Lawyear Alleges Military Injustices

Colby Vokey, served as Chief of all the Corps' defense lawyers in the western United States for the past four years, is now leaving the Corps, charges that some commanders and officials in the Bush administration have abused the system of justice.

Lt. Col. Colby Vokey, has defended marines in the murder investigation in Haditha, Iraq, as well as a teenager detainee at the U.S. prison camp at Guantanamo Bay. NPR's All Things Considered broadcast the story about who he was and why he was leaving the Marine Corps. A fascinating reading and listening!
